Nalbina Fortress

Nalbina Fortress is located just north-east of Rabanastre and marks the boarder of Dalmasca and Nabradia. It was here, during the Battle of Nalbina Fortress, that the Knights of Dalmasca were decimated, and Prince Rasler Heios succumbed to the arrow of an imperial soldier. A short while later, King Raminas was assassinated in the royal apartments, an event marking the end of autonomous rule for Dalmasca.

After the imperials took control of Nalbina Fortress, it was utilized primarily as a prison. However, the city itself was rebuilt, and now contains a thriving market and airship dock.

Nalbina is located in the desert. As you walk out of the fortress you see high sand dunes and mountains on the horizon.

You can get a job here as a builder, earning about 100 gil per day depending on the specific job you take.

She started hunting her prey near the forest. "this better be the right place" she muttered to herself. Not bothering to take a map like usual. She started walking off looking for any signs of chocobo..."here chocobo chocobo"... She laughed at herself knowing that would not allow one of the creatures to come near her.

Vash decided to scout instead. Searching everywhere for any signs of the creatures...seeing a small flock was slightly amuseing.
She noted that the number ment her usual tactic of remaining downwind and sneaking up behind one would not work. Another could easily spot her and warn the other. She sighed. "this is going to be difficult."
She looked around and smiled. "off course" She was looking at a tree with think, thin, strong and scrawny lush green vines. She took out her blade and cut at them. She tied some of it together makeing a makeshift lasso.
"hehe.. I better get one at least with this"

Without even bothing to think this through. She stalked the creatures. remaining downwind. trying her hardest not ot be spotted by any of tem. remaining low tacking advantage of any brush or branble nearby. She tries to minimise the amount of noise she made.

When she thought she got close enough Vash started swinging the lasso. That slight noise warned the chocobo of her pressence. They looked up *crap she thought*.. Running at full speed the chocobo fled. "damit!" As quickly as vash could she swung her arma nd let the lasso go towards the creature running as fast as she could towards it. "grr" The lasso barely missed "DAMIT!"
Frustrated she sighed and turned aronud picking up her makeshift lasso.."well at least i got something new to play with for awhile.."
Vash yawned and spied something interesing in the distance. A creature she has never seen. She walked towards it not giving it a second thought.

She and her chocobo ride to Nalbina's entrance, and she takes a look at the construction.

This is a Dalmascan fortress and they're rebuilding it for the Archadians. Sad..

She rides northward towards the Mosphoran Highwaste after stopping for food and water.

Sasume comes running, "O..Oh..My...P-Pie...I'm tired..I ran so frickin far!" he collapsed. "Ugh.." Sasume looked like he just lifted OVER 9000!!?!?!?! pounds, he got up and walked over to the fortress. "Ugh.." He looked at the sign, "Under construction..UNDER CONSTRUCTION!?" Sasume shouted with anger, noticing he came here for no reason. "A whole bunch of B.S.." he sighed.

*She took a swig of water from her pouch then set it back on her belt. Then continued walking towards town dragging the wolf behind. starting to feel the strain* ..dam ... this is hard work.
*She wipped off the sweat on her forhead and continued onward. trudging along in the heat*

She and her chocobo walk back into Nalbina fortress.

Ok, I need to get to Rabanastre.. I'm getting tired.

She takes the chocobo to the stables and turns to walk into the Estersand.

You can have him. He'll do me no good when he's tired.

With that she takes off running into the Estersand.

Sasume already left the place, and headed to the sandsea.
